Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Alpha Grit ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. One account per person. No bots, no shared logins.

3. The platform

Alpha Grit is a private community for personal growth, providing daily content (briefings, protocols, intel, drills), gamification (XP, streaks, levels, achievements, rankings), peer commentary, and curated resources. Features evolve. Access depends on an active subscription.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret. We'll never ask for your password.
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised.
• You may close your account at any time from Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms or community rules.

5. Subscription & billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days.
• Promotional periods (e.g., grand-opening trials) may have specific terms disclosed at signup.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. Community rules

The barracks runs on discipline. Inside any chat, comment, or member-visible field:

• No spam, no scams, no MLM, no recruiting for outside services.
• No harassment, no slurs, no doxxing. One warning is generous; we don't always give one.
• No illegal content. CSAM, threats, incitement, copyright theft — instant ban + report to authorities.
• No medical or financial advice posing as fact. Share what you do, not what others must do.
• Respect privacy. Don't share screenshots of comments outside the platform without consent.
• One identity. No alts, no impersonation, no fake testimonials.

Moderation is at our discretion. We don't owe you an explanation, but we'll provide one when reasonable.

7. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the platform for the purpose of operating the service. We can use anonymized aggregates (e.g., "3,200 operatives completed today's drill") for marketing.

You are responsible for content you post. Don't post what you don't have rights to.

8. AI features

The platform uses OpenAI to generate summaries, rewrite news, and produce other AI content. AI output may be inaccurate. Treat it as a draft, not authority. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

9. Our content & IP

All platform code, branding, design system, original articles, briefings, protocols, and curated content are owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable license to access them while your subscription is active. No scraping, no resale, no automated extraction.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is". We make no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or results. Personal growth depends on you, not us. Content is for education and entertainment — not professional advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, with or without notice. You may cancel at any time. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to your local courts.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
